Volkswagen T2B Camper from 1974
 
Unwelded first paint  in the beautiful color Sumatra green! has been under a carport in Sweden for years, an ideal restoration project for the winter months. Get it back on the road with little work. 
 
The bus is equipped with a 1600 engine. It has received a new carburetor, fuel pump, spark plugs & spark plug cables. The engine has been running and turns over but needs to be completely checked, 1 valve is stuck! Unfortunately the exhaust is leaking and therefore sounds very rough at the moment.

Pay attention welding! the welding work is easy to see, inside & outside sills, sliding door rails, all 4 jack stands and some pieces of bottom plate. Furthermore, the bus still looks great, known places such as window & roof edges, boarding, bumper beam are all as good as rust-free!
 
The camper interior was home built, looks good, but could use a makeover. The bus is originally a walk-through bus, so removing this interior and installing a rock and roll bed makes it the ideal tintop camper!
 
Brakes need to be completely checked & replaced, the model with 5x112 pitch is equipped with disc brakes at the front. The suspension all around looks fine, unfortunately a lot of sand all over the bottom.
